The buildings are drawn into the ground like the grass and the buildings are all one image done in flash. All the art assets for the environment are cheap static MS paint images. @StardusterEX I’ve also heard of some fans getting rather toxic about the rivals. Like, actively hating on the character online because they have nerve of “stealing” their love interest.
Considering there isn’t much fan service or mention of how cute and underage they are, i dont believe its meant to be pervy. In the same way many tween and tv shows don’t have very many adults in them. I think having too many older characters makes the game unapproachable and less appealing for children imo. You have a whole new group of children experiencing HM/SOS for the first time, you want to give them an option they can resonate with.
Not totally but if I could Go back I would definitely start with the first game in the arc. Anyway, any idea if the remaster version of Cold Steel 1 and 2 is gonna be released in English language? I can play it in another language but would prefer if it’s in English. I fear I’d get burned out by the high school stuff if I play it all the way from 1 to 4…
